International centre of excellence
Evelina London boasts leading expertise in fetal cardiology, complex cardiac surgery, advanced cardiac diagnostics, respiratory services and renal transplantation.
Our paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is the UK’s leading centre for critically ill children. Our multidisciplinary team includes expert clinicians offering specialised care for the sickest children.
We support complex needs such as caring for children with severe cardiorespiratory failure, including using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Our neonatal unit (NICU) provides 24-hour specialist care for premature and sick babies and is one of the UK’s leading centre’s specialising in the care of newborn babies. We care for around 1,000 babies a year and have some of the best survival rates in the UK.
We also offer a specialist intensive care retrieval service from UK and international locations.
Supporting international patients
We welcome patients from around the world. Our Arabic speaking international team provides language support and interpretation services.
We accommodate for spiritual and religious requirements as well as cultural and dietary needs.
Our team works closely with embassy colleagues, international referrers and government bodies to offer bespoke healthcare packages and support for letters of guarantee to ensure patients are well informed about every aspect of their care.
