Biography

Mr Kumar Kunde is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals for the last 17 years.  He has over 30 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynaecology having trained in India, the UK and the USA. This international exposure to the practice of obstetrics has given him a unique overview of different maternity healthcare systems, enabling him to provide world-class care for pregnant women at St Thomas’ Hospital.

He provides evidence-based care which is effective and safe for mother and baby. Kumar specialises in high risk obstetric cases having acquired expert skills in managing complex births and pregnancies. As a leading consultant obstetrician, Kumar firmly believes in providing continuity of care and is available promptly to support couples 24/7 throughout pregnancy.
