To further develop his skills, he completed microsurgical fellowships at the Royal London Hospital and the Royal Perth Hospital in Australia. These focused on trauma reconstruction, breast reconstruction, hand surgery and aesthetic surgery.

During his plastic surgery training, he spent time at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, the Royal London Hospital and the St Andrew’s Centre for burns and plastic surgery in Chelmsford.

Following completion of his specialist plastic surgery training, he undertook a reconstructive, aesthetic and microsurgery fellowship at The Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia.
