Dr Paraskevi Theocharis is a paediatric cardiologist who has been at Evelina London Children’s Hospital since 2017 and specialises in:

Paraskevi also provides outpatient consultations for the majority of heart problems in children, including:

Biography

Paraskevi specialised in paediatrics and obtained her PhD in neonatal renal physiology in Greece, which was followed by extensive paediatric cardiology training in the UK.

As an expert in advanced echocardiography including 3D echocardiography, deformational imaging, structural echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiogram, Paraskevi provides crucial imaging information and guidance to interventionists and congenital cardiac surgeons to achieve the best results for patients.

She is a member of the multidisciplinary Kawasaki team and the recently described multi-inflammatory syndrome team at Evelina London, which is unique in the country for the inclusion of cardiology input.
