Biography

Dr Marie White is a consultant general paediatrician at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

She graduated from the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2007 and completed her paediatric training in West Yorkshire and London. Alongside her paediatric training, she received a distinction for her Masters in Child Health and has presented her research internationally.

She has worked as a consultant in general paediatrics at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital since 2020. She is experienced in managing a wide range of neonatal and paediatric conditions, children with complex health needs and has interests in asthma and allergies. Marie is the departmental lead for research helping to deliver cutting edge, evidence based care.

She is enthusiastic about teaching and medical education and instructs on the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course. She has also volunteered with the Royal College of Child Health to help train medical and nursing staff in both Kenya and Myanmar. She cares about improving the health of children globally, volunteering as acting consultant in Kenya for 6 months.
