Guy’s and St Thomas’ Private Healthcare aims to improve and enhance patient care and experience. We have expanded the private patients team and successfully recruited a newly created international team to meet the needs of overseas patients.
Our new in-house team works closely with embassy colleagues to strengthen partnerships and provide a seamless service at every stage of a patient’s treatment. Led by Elyas Talha, embassy relationship manager, the team provides a complete personal service, managing the full patient pathway from initial contact to discharge back to the overseas home country.
The team provides bespoke healthcare packages that meets the needs of patients.
The Arabic speaking team provide valuable support to international patients, their families and relatives offering interpretation services and ensuring a positive home from home experience.
Elyas Talha, embassy relationship manager, said “Our international team is a great asset as we can provide support at every step of a patient’s journey. We work closely with embassy colleagues and liaise with all parties involved in the patient’s care from the health attaché, consultant and nursing teams. Our team also provides cultural awareness training to staff to ensure the needs of patients are met with sensitivity and understanding.”
