Biography

As expert in geriatric and general medicine, Dr Mark Kinirons is enthusiastic about getting older people into a better place regarding their health and wellbeing.

He qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the University College Dublin in 1985 before receiving his MD from the National University of Ireland (NUI Galway) in 1996. In 1997 he was awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and in 1999 he received on from the Royal College of Physicians London.

Mark has had wide and varied training, which adds value to patients with multiple conditions or multiple medicines or those requiring surgery.

He participates in full general medical and old age work in his department and is an expert in memory and falls in particular.
