Consultant metabolic medicine
Dr Yusof Rahman is a consultant in inherited metabolic disease (IMD). After studying in Dublin, he moved to London to join a metabolic medicine specialist registrar training programme at Imperial College Healthcare. As part of his specialist training, he also spent two years at the Charles Dent Metabolic Unit, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, for his IMD training.
He obtained his fellowship for the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) in 2008 and completed his CCT in chemical pathology/metabolic medicine in 2009, before joining Guy’s and St Thomas’ and Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
Yusof enjoys good food, travelling and playing badminton on a regular basis.
