Mr Osama Naji

Consultant gynaecologist

Mr Osama Naji is a consultant gynaecologist specialising in the early detection of gynaecological pre-cancerous conditions using advanced outpatient facilities such as ultrasound, hysteroscopy, and colposcopy, with the goal of reducing the need for major surgery.

He is an international expert in advanced gynaecological scanning and contributes significantly to scientific research in women’s health. He is known for his friendly, approachable demeanour, and provides trusted advice and care by the latest published clinical evidence, and the standards of the most successful health systems worldwide.

Osama qualified in Baghdad, Iraq, and went on to complete his specialist training at centres of excellence in London and the West Midlands. He gained an MD from Imperial College London for developing novel methods for assessing incomplete caesarean section scar healing by ultrasound, and its’ subsequent effects on early pregnancy, infertility, and menstrual bleeding abnormalities.

He is an accomplished author and has several publications in the field, and currently serves as a faculty member and speaker for a number of national and international societies and conferences in both the UK and the Middle East.

Osama offers outpatient consultations at the Royal Brompton Hospital’s Wimpole Street facility. You can find out more details here.
