Ian Fentiman is emeritus professor of surgical oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine. He has written eight books, published over 340 peer-reviewed papers and contributed 50 book chapters.
He is member of the British Breast Group, the Association of Breast Surgeons and Fellow of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. He serves on the editorial board of The Breast Journal, International Journal of Clinical Practice, Current Cancer Therapy Reviews, The Open Cancer Journal and International Journal of General Medicine.

1968: Graduated from the University of London, King’s College Hospital, trained in general surgery and was a clinical research fellow at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and Arris & Gale lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
