Our highly acclaimed dermatology service the St John’s Institute of Dermatology opened in 1863. We are now one of the world’s leading centres for patients with skin disease.

As the largest clinical dermatology department in the UK, we treat a wide range of skin diseases from common to rare conditions requiring treatments not available elsewhere in the country.

The St John’s Institute of Dermatology is an internationally recognised for our cutting-edge research into skin diseases. We’re also a postgraduate dermatology training centre for health professionals from all over the world.

Botox for hyperhidrosis

Our dermatology team at Guy’s Hospital Dermatology Surgery and Laser Unit (DSLU) are now providing Botox injections to treat patients with hyperhidrosis of the under arms.
